DAO has a young fleet of high-specification ships from leading shipyards. Our fleet will continue to grow with further deliveries scheduled over the next few years.

We commenced operations in 2012 with the delivery of a series of supramax bulk carriers from Hyundai Mipo Dockyard in South Korea.

Since then we have ordered more ships at Oshima Shipbuilding and Imabari Shipbuilding in Japan. DAO will continue with its strategy of working only with the world's leading shipbuilding groups.

Our newbuilding programme is supported by our management's experience in ship design and construction, and our ships are built to our customers' specifications. We work with the shipyards to improve vessel fuel and operational efficiency, environmental compliance and to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for our crew.

This emphasis on quality and ship design allows us to develop long-term business with some of the world’s leading shipping companies.
