The DAO fleet trades globally and carries a wide range of cargoes.
In 2014, the DAO fleet carried about 2.1 million tonnes of cargo (up 14% year-on-year). This included commodities such as coal, cement, iron ore, concentrates, urea, sugar, wheat and steel products.
The DAO fleet comprises of supramaxes (including box shaped), ultramaxes and kamsarmaxes.
Our supramax and ultramax vessels are equipped with cranes and grabs, offering maximum flexibility for self-handling cargoes in regions with limited port facilities.
The DAO fleet trades globally, but predominantly within Asia and the Pacific.
